Many moons ago, all of my characters where made using air dry paper clay. This technique requires patience, lots of sanding, lots of prep work BUT the results are wonderful. The pieces each have a warmth about them. This set I used colored pencils... lots and lots of layers with fun straight marks, some swirls and some circles.
